Warfare Cry
As the devil seeks to reign destruction,
Teach me Lord, to be still.
Let me use not my own strength or resources,
For this battles belongs to you.
Long before these thing could ever happen,
You were there, dear Lord.
Teach me Lord that you are forever sovereign
That you are always on the move.
Pre-Chorus:
Draw me closer to you
Draw me closer to you
That I may stand in the gap
Between the living and the dead
Chorus:
For our struggles not against the flesh and blood,
But against the powers of the dark
Teach me to stand firm in truth,
Your righteousness set in place.
With the shield of faith and the sword of the spirit
I'll get down on my knees
Knowing that the victory is won
In the name of Jesus Christ I pray
Haha, this song is one of the song, that spoke to me when I was at one of my most devastated moment of my life. I was strengthen and comforted when I start to sing it out. Indeed, the battle we are fighting each day aren't the battle of flesh and blood but against the power of the dark. We are fighting spiritual realms everyday and we need God to help us to fight this battle. Last Saturday during prayer meet, Nel was sharing about the teaching on spiritual warfare and this verse from Ephesians 6:12 - For our struggles is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of the evil in the heavenly realms. The next thing that came to my mind was this song.LOLS! At that moment, I thought to myself, "Wow, what a great composition of song".
Enjoy listening to this song. Hope it'll touch your heart and strengthen you to strive on the race with God. God Bless! :)

The Lord is my Confidence
Proverbs 3:19-26
19 By wisdom the LORD laid the earth's foundations,
by understanding he set the heavens in place;
20 by his knowledge the deeps were divided,
and the clouds let drop the dew.
21 My son, preserve sound judgment and discernment,
do not let them out of your sight;
22 they will be life for you,
an ornament to grace your neck.
23 Then you will go on your way in safety,
and your foot will not stumble;
24 when you lie down, you will not be afraid;
when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
25 Have no fear of sudden disaster
or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked,
26 for the LORD will be your confidence
and will keep your foot from being snared.
Sometimes we always think that, God will only speak when we start the conversation with him, but that isn’t true at all. God do take initiative to talk to us to at times. As I was doing my own stuff this afternoon, my shepherd message me this: “I read a verse & it reminded me of you. When you felt fear, hope this verse rings to you; ‘Do not be afraid of sudden terror, not of trouble from the wicked when it comes [proverbs 3:25]’.” I was pondering what this verse was trying to tell me and I went to flip my own bible and re-read it again, a few verse before and after that particular verse she gave me. It spoke to me at that moment, though it maybe of a different versions.
I was thinking, “WOW, God reminded me of what I want to apply after Saturday’s teaching” I remembered sharing to Fel about what I learn from the teaching and what I want to apply, and placing my confidence in the Lord was one of the things I wanted to apply.
How I was feeling about yesterday and everything was just gone at that moment. God never fail to be there each time I needed Him and the fact is that we all need Him in our lives. I’m convicted about having a right relationship with God, being close to Him and loving Him more and more each day. Never ever leave God for the “wants” in your life that you hold on so tightly to. If God wants you to let go, then let it go because God knows what is good and bad for us and that He can see the future of us too.
God gave us what we need, because He knows that what we need fills us and that what we want is usually temporal and may lead us to a dead road. Let’s place our trust in obeying God, because when we delight in the Lord, God will give us the desire of our heart. This applies for the entire situation in life, not only in ministry. All it takes is just a matter of time, God’s timing for it to happen. God does not short-change us, He never will because in Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. All we need is to take a step of faith and trust God in this. God always tells me this: “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid for I am here with you all the time”
I pray that this post will bring encouragement to everyone, especially those we are struggling from choosing what they need (God) and what they want. Take courage to choose a wise decision today, even if it means to face all the consequences that is coming ahead because the Lord promise to be with us all the time. J

Those footprints left in my heart
Things use to be simple and pure.
The times together is always exciting and fun.
Doing stupid things and sharing about God.
Sharing the same passion we all have.
It was just like a calm sea.
Joy and peace was there.
But one unfortunate day,
Broke that simplicity we had.
Things went the wrong way.
And the calm sea starts to turn into a stormy sea as time passes.
We landed in hurt that was so painful.
The picture of God faded in us.
We were devastated and so lost.
To turn back and take a look now,
I see that
We've been through all the good and bad times.
Things weren't easy.
But all these are memories that was left in my heart.
A footprint was made in my heart,
Never will I forget all these.
But things can turn back the way is it again.
All we need is just God to fix it back.

Oh Lord, you know me inside out
Psalm 40
Psalm 39 • Chapter 40 • Psalm 41
For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.
1 I waited patiently for the LORD;
he turned to me and heard my cry.
2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.
3 He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear
and put their trust in the LORD.
4 Blessed is the man
who makes the LORD his trust,
who does not look to the proud,
to those who turn aside to false gods. [a]
5 Many, O LORD my God,
are the wonders you have done.
The things you planned for us
no one can recount to you;
were I to speak and tell of them,
they would be too many to declare.
6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
but my ears you have pierced [b] , [c] ;
burnt offerings and sin offerings
you did not require.
7 Then I said, "Here I am, I have come—
it is written about me in the scroll. [d]
8 I desire to do your will, O my God;
your law is within my heart."
9 I proclaim righteousness in the great assembly;
I do not seal my lips,
as you know, O LORD.
10 I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;
I speak of your faithfulness and salvation.
I do not conceal your love and your truth
from the great assembly.
11 Do not withhold your mercy from me, O LORD;
may your love and your truth always protect me.
12 For troubles without number surround me;
my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see.
They are more than the hairs of my head,
and my heart fails within me.
13 Be pleased, O LORD, to save me;
O LORD, come quickly to help me.
14 May all who seek to take my life
be put to shame and confusion;
may all who desire my ruin
be turned back in disgrace.
15 May those who say to me, "Aha! Aha!"
be appalled at their own shame.
16 But may all who seek you
rejoice and be glad in you;
may those who love your salvation always say,
"The LORD be exalted!"
17 Yet I am poor and needy;
may the Lord think of me.
You are my help and my deliverer;
O my God, do not delay.
As I read this verse, my heart was comforted by the words of the Lord. This is not the first time that the word from the heavenly father had comforted me and spoke to me so fast. God understands exactly how I feel and what I’m going through. God seems to be revealing more and more of Him as I walk right with Him. Each day, I anticipate wanting to know God more, to want to grow closer to Him and love Him more. I am no longer like last time. My faith and desire for God is much greater. As I grow spiritually, the more and more I’m convicted in my faith.
This whole chapter really summarize up our relationship with God. How much we need Him in my life and how much we have gone through with Him throughout all these years. Wow, as I look back I’m really glad that I’m still on this race with many brothers and sisters. It is really an amazing journey that only when you participate in it then you will understand what I mean.
Oh Lord,
I pray that you will continue to grow and mature me.
You work in ways that are so amazing.
I adore, Your wonders You’ve done in my life.
I desire to love and do more of Your will.
May I stay close with Your Holy Spirit daily,
And follow His guidance.
Humble me and let me not be proud
Renew my heart, soul, mind & strength.
I thank you, Lord for hearing my prayers!
AMEN.
